The largest theme park in Mauritius is located on the southern slope of the central mountains 3 km north of the town of Chemin Grenier and about 10 km from the Hindu temple of Ganga Talao.

Vallé Park has by far the most attractions of any similar theme park in Mauritius, the only slightly comparable one being within the Casela Zoo.

Entrance fees and opening hours

Open every day from 9:00-17:30, with the last activity possible at 16:30.

Admission to the area is as follows:

  • 350 mur - Adults
  • 250 mur - children up to 12 years old

However, there is also a charge for each individual attraction. For example, the longest zipline in Mauritius costs 1 650 mur, go-karting 450 mur and crossing the Nepal Bridge 650 mur.

How to get there

Vallé Park is not accessible by public transport.

The easiest and cheapest way to travel is by rental car. The park is located between the town of Chemin Grenier and the upper part of the Black River Gorges NP. Distances from major sites are as follows:

The large car park directly in front of the entrance is free of charge.

Taxis are also often waiting at the entrance, however travelling by taxi in Mauritius is very expensive and it often works out cheaper to hire a car. We describe how to travel around the island in the Transport chapter.
