Getting to Mauritius
The only way to get to Mauritius is by air.
There are no regular ferries to Mauritius from any of the surrounding islands, except for the island of Rodrigues, which is part of Mauritius.

Mauritius has only one international airport - Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International MRU.
It is located in the south-west of the island near the town of Plaine Magnien and has regular flights from Africa, Europe, Asia and Australia.

Generally, the best chance of finding a cheap flight to Mauritius is between January and April, when it rains the most.
However, it still makes sense to fly to the island at this time as well, as the weather allows for leisurely beach holidays.
