Wizz Air in a nutshell

Wizz Air is a low-cost carrier that offers the cheapest possible price for getting from A to B at the expense of service. This means that airline tickets often don't even cost 20 eur.
Wizz Air is officially a Hungarian carrier and operates many bases across Europe, especially in the eastern half of Europe.
The company operates flights exclusively with Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft in the typical pink colours.

Hey. Hey,
such a stupid question.
How much does the flight have to be changed to make the change/credits/refund?
The information came in the mail, the shift is an hour and a quarter, the buttons to make changes at the booking are not there. For the second flight yes, but there they wrote that the flight is cancelled (while it was also only a shift - by 7h, or 2,5h on the return flight).
Is there any indication of how much the delay must be to allow free changes? The flights are not until next year.
Thanks for the reply and apologies if this has been mentioned here before, somehow I can't seem to find it in the many posts.
Update: However, it is gradually scaling back its activities outside the European continent, notably by closing its Abu Dhabi office.

Well, I wonder what they'll do with those planes. The Poles are speculating about reopening the base in Modlin. Maybe we'll see something to Prague or Pardubice.
They could at least add something to Vienna that they cancelled earlier.
They will probably strengthen connections within Europe. From autumn there is a new line Bratislava - Bucharest. And maybe they will make the Slovak Minister of Transport happy and fly on an hourly basis on the Bratislava - Košice route. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That was a very quick update! Too bad that you "can't" update the Contact section as well. 😂
Part of Modlin: "Wizz Air's new routes from Modlin will include connections to Athens, Bergamo, Barcelona, Bergen, Chisinau, Paphos, Sofia, Palermo, Brindisi, Malta and Sardinia ."
Has anyone received an email regarding the changes to the Discount Club - https://www.businesstravelnewseu...-programme
Many people, see the discussion in the forum.
In case you missed the information, according to yesterday's Hospodářek, Wizz Air is finally in foreclosure, where it has been sent by a Czech court for not returning money for cancelled flights.
Hi, does anyone have any info on the Prague Milan line? It's been cancelled for almost two weeks now, and there are still no flights from May I have nothing from Wizz and I don't want to call their paid fucking line because I don't believe they will be able to tell me anything other than "wait".

That's cancelled, it's by Ryan to Bergamo and then by train to Milan - it's a short walk.
Thank you. Well, it looks like it. Easyjet has shitty connection times on the days I need to get there, and it's pretty expensive. But that and Bergamo plus bus fares. Thanks, Wizz, I think I'll let Marrakech go. ☹️ Where do they want to fly from Prague anymore? London like everyone else?

Bergamo is mainly a transfer hub.
Hi, well Wizzair cancelled my flight Prague-Malpensa and back in May today. The problem is that I have a connecting flight with Wizz Malpensa-Marrakech a day later. I'm tempted to cancel the connecting flight, because I'm sure they won't cancel that one themselves. But the fees. Does anyone have an intelligent solution to avoid them? 🤷 The only still reasonable alternative to Malpensa from Prag is Easyjet, but it's a lot more expensive and at stupider times.
Wizzair doesn't sell any connecting flights, folding flights with them is every gambler's risk. With Wizzair, they cancel inflexible tickets by letting them lapse because that's the cheapest way. 😀
I'd wait some Friday to see how it develops. They can upload it back later, but at different dates/times. I'd also check their website to see if they offer an alternative flight from another airport. Another option is to somehow get to Bergamo and take the shuttle to Malpensa.
Thanks, yeah, I know, I used the wrong term. I'll chat them up a bit this weekend for information.
Well, good luck with that. I'd better call that special line they have for disabled people and crashed flights.

I got the cancellation for May this morning too.I had a flight there only. I immediately bought a ticket with Easyjet when it was still 500 CZK. They're more expensive now. I got a refund from wizzair and that was it for good.
Hi, I read that Wizzair is cancelling flights to Bulgaria this year. I'm specifically referring to Varna, I fly there regularly every year. I've been looking at tickets with other airlines and they're really rocketing. Off season around 8k. CZK. Do you know if there is a chance to get tickets cheaper somewhere else? I don't know of any other low cost airline that flies there. Oh, and please, only direct flights from Prague without connecting. Thanks for every tip 👍
With those restrictions, I guess it's no use. 🙂 From Vienna you can get to Burgas and Varna cheaply if you shop at the right time. From Bratislava to Burgas. Getting to Varna is not such a problem, at least for someone who has no problem getting somewhere from Prague.
My outbound flight has been delayed by almost 11 hours and I am no longer interested in travelling with wizz. Can I cancel and get a refund for the return journey as well? Thank you
You have the right to do so, but Wizz Air is an unserious company that can only be enforced through the courts. They rely on the fact that no one will go to court for a few thousand crowns. Moreover, they then ignore those court decisions.
Hi, the Wizz app only shows me prices up to May in the fare finder, even though the routes fly all summer. What could it be? Do I have a bad setting somewhere? Thank you
No, you don't.
Hi, does anyone know if Wizz has the new check-in pens at Ruzyne and how they work? Thanks a lot
Not just Wizz and it works exactly the same as if there weren't any. You walk in and you beep your boarding pass.
Thanks, did I catch that they were closing early or something?
They're closing as usual.
If you get to the boarding on time, there's no problem. You just have to take into account that there is no toilet behind the pen, so you have to go before you get into the pen.
