Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport in a nutshell

Krystof Hajek updated 4. 10. 2023

Charles de Gaulle Airport (known among the French as Roissy) is the second largest airport in Europe. In addition to being the main airport for the Paris agglomeration, it can be conveniently used for transport to all corners of France thanks to the high-speed TGV trains, which have a station directly at the airport (at Terminal 2). CDG is also widely used for transfers to all over the world.

Flights to Paris CDG are most often booked with Air France-KLM, which has a huge base here with flights to all over the world.

For the most part, cheaper connections are offered by easyJet, which operates flights from Paris mainly around Western and Southern Europe.

Often cheaper tickets are offered by Vueling or Transavia flying to Orly airport or Ryanair to Beauvais airport.
