Charles de Gaulle Airport (known to the French as Roissy) is the second-largest in Europe. As well as being the main airport for the Paris metropolitan area, it offers convenient transport to all corners of France thanks to the TGV high-speed trains, which have a station directly at the airport (near Terminal 2). CDG is also widely used for transfers to destinations all over the world.

Flights to Paris CDG Airport are most commonly booked with Air France, which has a huge base here offering flights to destinations all over the world.

Generally cheaper connections are offered by easyJet, which operates flights from Paris, particularly to Western and Southern Europe.

Cheaper flights are often available from Vueling orTransavia, which fly toOrlyAirport (ORY), or from Ryanair, which flies toBeauvais Airport (BVA).
