Rome in a nutshell

Rome

Rome is one of the few cities where reality truly lives up to expectations.

The Colosseum, the Pantheon, the Vatican and the Roman Forum aren’t scattered across opposite ends of the city. You often walk between them, and it’s precisely then that you begin to understand why Rome is one of the most visited places in the world.

But it’s not just about the sights.

Just as much a part of the experience are the morning espresso bars, Trastevere in the evening, long, aimless strolls, or those moments when you sit in a small square and simply watch life go by.

And perhaps that’s precisely why so many people keep coming back here time and again. Not to tick off the Colosseum again, but for the atmosphere that few other cities in Europe can match.
