Rome Ciampino Airport in a nutshell

The Colosseum

The smaller of Rome’s airports is situated 17 km south-east of the city centre and is used exclusively by the low-cost airlines Ryanair and Wizz Air.

It is sometimes confused withthe largerFiumicino Airport, which is served by all other airlines.

Ciampino Airport is more popular than the larger Fiumicino, mainly due to the significantly shorter distances within the terminal and faster check-in.
