The ruins are very well preserved and illustrate the original shape of the fortress. The castle is located about 4,5 km from the village of Kritinia and 4 km from the port of Kamiros Skala.

Like most monuments of this kind in Rhodes, the castle is accessible free of charge 24 hours a day.

You can enter all indoor and outdoor areas of the fortress, from where you can enjoy absolutely stunning views of the coastline and the nearby island of Chalki.

How to get there

The castle can be reached by car on a signposted asphalt road.

On-site parking is free and the distance from Rhodes Airport is 41 km.
