Where to stay in Rhodes

Rhodes offers a large number of accommodations of a very good standard. You can stay in luxury hotel complexes, family apartments and hostels.
Where to stay in Rhodes
- The east coast - beautiful and typically beachy resorts where families with children as well as sightseers, water sports and nightlife lovers will find a place to enjoy.
- West coast - popular with windsurfers and kitesurfers as it is much windier, in the north there are resorts with luxury hotels
- South - the sparsely populated south offers great small hotels and local accommodation in small villages
Rhodes Town
Rhodes Town is the only real town on the island with full facilities.
It is relatively compact, so you can stay almost anywhere.
Sightseers will appreciate the option of staying right in the historic centre of town, but accommodation outside the walls offers the same comfort at significantly lower prices. For accommodation with a sea view, hotels around Elli Beach are recommended.
Accommodation in Rhodes is ideal for those who want to take trips around the island and boat trips to Turkey and want to be in the heart of the action.
Large beach resorts
Faliraki: Fun-lovers will be attracted to the island's largest resort, Faliraki and its surrounding area, with its rich nightlife, plenty of bars and discos, and the largest water park in the entire archipelago. During the day, you'll be sure to find plenty of beach activities to choose from.
Lindos.
Kolymbia: One of the most popular Greek resorts among European tour operators. Here you'll find many hotel resorts right on the beach, but also cheaper accommodation for individual tourists in the historic part of the town.

- Embonas - a beautiful mountain village with many restaurants, shops and great access to the highest mountain Atavyros or Jacob's Canyon
Accommodation prices
Accommodation prices in Rhodes depend very much on the season. Logically, hotels are most expensive in the summer, especially in July and August.
On the other hand, the cheapest in winter, when no one comes to Rhodes.
During the summer you can find a hotel by the beach with breakfast for about 100 eur per night for two people.
However, if you're more flexible, can plan at least 2-3 months in advance, and just need to stay 1-2 km from the sea, you'll have no problem finding a decent hotel with private bathroom in a room from about 75 eur per night for two in some resorts (typically Pefkos, Rhodes or Gennadi).
