Singapore Flyer
The Singapore Flyer is a giant observation wheel at Marina Bay. It often appears on "what to see in Singapore" lists, but we personally skipped it.
The reason is simple - you have several better (and often cheaper) views in the Marina Bay area.

Is Singapore Flyer worth it?
✅ Yes, if:
- You want a quiet view without the crowds
- you like to ride a sightseeing bicycle
- you're travelling with children
❌ More likely not if:
- you want the best view of the city
- you don't want to spend a lot of money on views
- it's your first time in Singapore and you're pressed for time
💡 Alternative:
Marina Bay Sands SkyPark or CapitaSpring.
What to expect
- Enclosed air-conditioned cabins
- Very slow ride (about 75 minutes per turn)
- view of Marina Bay and downtown
The Singapore Flyer is more of an added attraction than the main thing to see in Singapore.
Admission
The Ferris wheel is open daily from 10:00-22:00, but the last entry is at 21:30.
The price is 40 sgd per adult.
Rather expensive by Singapore standards considering what you get.
