You'll know the ArtScience Museum at a glance - the "lotus" building next to Marina Bay Sands. From the outside it's one of Marina Bay's icons, inside it's all about which exhibition you hit.

We especially enjoyed the digital exhibition Future World (teamLab) - lights, projections, interaction.

Great for kids, a nice change for adults after the classic sightseeing.

Is the ArtScience Museum worth a visit?

Yes, if:

  • you are interested in interactive exhibitions (especially Future World)
  • you are travelling with children
  • you are looking for an indoor program in the heat or rain

❌ More likely not, if:

  • you don't have a specific exhibition you're going inside for
  • you're expecting a Gardens by the Bay-type "must-see"
  • you're pressed for time

But it's definitely worth at least walking along the promenade to the unique 2011 lotus flower building.

There is also a beautiful water lily pond around the building.

What awaits you inside

  • Future World (teamLab) - interactive light installations (the biggest draw)
  • Temporary exhibitions - changing, themes are scientific, physical, environmental, space related, etc.
  • List of current exhibitions: marinabaysands.com/museum

We wouldn't go here again without Future World, honestly. I'm not much of a museum person, and the temporary exhibitions here tend to be relatively small in general.

TeamLab is a very playful installation focusing mainly on lighting and AI effects.
