Limni beach

If you're looking for a really secluded beach that doesn't get too crowded even in high season, head to the southwest of the island.
The several kilometres long Limni beach, which flows freely into Apolakkia beach, will greet you with coarse sand in places, pebbles in others and, above all, emptiness.
There are no bars, no hotels and no restaurants, just a 6 km long beach, the sea and the sun.
The entrance to the sea is gradual, but the west coast is often prone to bigger waves. Sun umbrellas and sunbeds are only occasionally available for hire near the car park at prices around 10 eur per day.
There are parking spaces anywhere along the beach - you can park for free in any spot.
The beach can only be reached by car, there is no bus connection.
