Kallithea Springs

Just about 10 km from Rhodes town you will find the wonderful quiet place of Kallithea with several small bays, nice beaches with photogenic rocky surroundings and also the historical buildings of the Kallithea baths.
Although the beach and the baths of Kallithea share the same name as the inland town of Kallithea, they don't have much in common. The town of Kallithea lies about 10 km to the south.
Beaches and swimming
There are several smaller beaches separated by small rocky cliffs, most of them with small pebbles and a rocky entrance to the deep sea.
The beaches in Kallithea are ideal for lovers of pretty scenery as well as snorkelling and diving. The crystal waters and the rugged seabed are the perfect combination for fish watching.
On each of the beaches you can rent a sunbed and umbrella, prices are around 20 eur per day for a set of 2 sunbeds and an umbrella. More comfortable bed-like sunbeds cost up to 60 eur per set.
Admission to the beach
The beaches lying directly in the bay with the historic baths area have an entrance fee of 5 eur (free after 7pm).
The beach below the car park about 150 metres from the Kallithea Baths is accessible free of charge throughout the day.
Spa buildings
The thermal springs that sprang up on the site led to the building of a small spa complex in 1920. It no longer serves its original purpose, but you can visit the beautifully preserved spa pavilions, the landscaped seaside promenade and the crystal clear sea.
The price of admission to the complex is 5 eur and you can pay by card or cash. Admission after 7pm is free.
It is open every day from 9:00-24:00.
Accommodation Kallithea
The beach is located outside the built-up area and you won't find any accommodation right next to it.
However, just about 2km north you will come across the beautiful and well rated resort Kresten Palace Hotel **** in a quiet area and with good rates from 150 eur per night in a 2 bed room.
Transportation to Kallithea beach
