Hey. Hey. Inquiry about seat selection.and online check-in. I assume if we have Swiss from Prague and then Edelweiss from Zurich, back to Zurich Edelweiss and then to Prague Air Baltic...all bought on Swiss website under one booking, it will let me check in online all the way to Swiss each time, even if it's a different airline? And will they assign seats with each other? If I don't want to pay extra, the seats can't be selected online at all even with online check-in, or...? Thanks
It will go online to check and not spread out. Edelweiss does not even allow the management of a reservation that was created through Swiss. The Baltic one will behave normally as Swiss. I would handle everything online via the website or the Swiss app.
Seat selection for a flight operated by Edelweiss and for free should go either at the Zurich check in desk or direct to the agent at the gate, or so I was told. The question is whether there will still be anything reasonable available at that time. Otherwise you have to make do with what they allocate.
When I checked in online in the fall (flight from Prague Swiss, from Zurich Edelweiss), it allowed me to select any seat on both flights. So I chose any available seat for both passengers at no charge with Edelweiss.
Depends on the fare, you can't even go with Gold *A in that light seat selection. However, it will still be side by side.
Yeah, I had the Classic plan. I could only book a seat in advance for free on the Prague - Zurich route (and vice versa), but not with Edelweiss. With online check-in I could already choose any seat on all flights.
