The smaller resort of Pefki (sometimes called Pefkos) is about 2 km from Lardos and 2 km from Lindos. It is an ideal destination for travelers looking for a quiet, well-kept town with a nice little beach.

The town of Pefki is very small, but still offers a full range of services from tavernas to a pharmacy to a small supermarket. It's nestled in a beautiful idyllic bay and its orientation makes it one of the few places on the east coast where you can watch sunsets.

Beaches and swimming

There are two sandy beaches about half a kilometre long, which boast fine sand without pebbles, which is quite a rarity on the east coast.

While there aren't as many activities on the beach as in neighbouring Lardos (in terms of water sports on offer), on the other hand, you'll enjoy more tranquillity here.

The entrance to the water is very gradual and safe. The sea here is beautifully clear and, thanks to the sheltered bay, calm. Therefore, there are also suitable conditions for snorkelling.

Holidays with a travel agency - the best hotels

The small town of Pefki is a popular destination for many European tour operators who organize not only all-inclusive holidays here.

Pefki is a quieter resort with quality 4* or 5* resorts, but also cheaper 3* hotels.

When planning a holiday with a travel agent to Pefki we would choose from these top rated hotels. View the best weekly deals:

Hotels for individual travellers

You can find accommodation here from 85 eur per night for two in beautiful apartments. For the summer season it is better to book more in advance, ideally at least 4-5 months.

For the cheapest well rated apartments we would recommend George Beach Studios in the centre of the village (70 metres from the beach) or Angela Studios Pefkos right on the beach.

However, classic beach resorts will also offer decent prices up to 120 eur:

Transportation to Pefkos
