Pantokrator

The highest mountain of the island, Pantokrator, climbs to 917 m above sea level. A winding path leads to the top and at the end of it you will find a very nice church and a small café.
Pantokrator is a must visit for all those who love 360° views of the whole wide surroundings.
From Pantokrator you can see the whole of Corfu, you can easily see the Albanian mainland and enjoy beautiful sunsets and sunrises, of course.
How to get there
There is an asphalt road leading up to the top, so the best way to get to Pantokrator is by car.
You can park for free wherever there is space at the top, and it's not crowded even in high season. Be aware that the road is very winding and narrow, and the 40km drive from Kerkyra can take up to 2 hours.
You can also walk to the top from two sides on not very well marked hiking trails:
- from the village of Spartilas - the trail is 5.5 km long and has an elevation gain of 540 metres.
- from the village of Old Perithia - the path is 5 km long and the elevation is 490 metres
