Kavos beach is located at the very southern tip of Corfu, about 50 km from the airport and the largest town.

The adjacent resort of Kavos has been growing in recent years and offers all the facilities and nightly entertainment in the bars. Kavos is one of the liveliest resorts in Corfu, with many water sports options, but also never ending entertainment in the bars and clubs, which often run until late in the morning.

Although Kavos itself is just a small village, it is bustling with life in the summer season, offering everything from restaurants, beach and grocery shops to a pharmacy and ATMs.

Beaches and swimming

Kavos beckons with its eponymous straight beach over 3 km long, which will delight all lovers of a typical beach holiday. It is covered in fine white sand and has every conceivable amenity.

On the beach, you can take advantage of the sunbed and umbrella hire, the water attractions and sports on offer, and the pedalo and boat hire. Kavos will be loved by all those who want to relax on the beach all day and do nothing, and go to bars and restaurants in the evenings.

The entrance to the water is gradual and very safe. There are no strong currents or big waves.

The surroundings are gentle with no high hills and plenty of space along the sea.

How to get there

The resort is at the very southern end of Corfu and is about an hour drive from the capital. There are plenty of free parking spaces even if you're not staying here.

From Corfu Town you can also take the B1 bus line to Kavos.
