Erikousa

The islet of Erikousa (also Erikoussa or Ereikousa) is one of the three Diapontian islands and the northernmost Greek island in the Ionian Sea.
The hilly landscape covered with greenery and the turquoise blue clear sea are similar to Corfu, but only 200 permanent inhabitants live on Erikousa and the island is roughly 1.5 km by 1 km.
There aren't many tourists heading here, so Erikousa retains the authentic feel of Greek island life. Head here from Corfu on a trip for peace and quiet, pretty little beaches that are mostly sandy, and the atmosphere of family-run tavernas.
How to get there
There are ferries to Erikousa from Corfu Town (4 times a week) and also from Agios Stefanos (3 times a week). You buy your boat ticket at the port and it goes out from Corfu at 8 eur, from Agios Stefanos at 5 eur one way.
You can find the timetable for example on this website.
You will not find any rental company or bus service on Erikous. However, most visitors spend their time in the only major village by the harbour, where you can walk everywhere.
Accommodation
There are a few more upmarket accommodations on the island with prices starting at 128 eur per night.
