Play flights
On 29 September 2025, Icelandic airline PLAY ceased operations due to financial difficulties.
The best way to buy tickets is directly on the airline's website flyplay.com.
Although PLAY is a low-cost airline, it also offers guaranteed connecting flights via Iceland between Europe and America. However, it is always worth comparing prices and flight times via search engines such as skyscanner.com, even in the face of intense competition.
When to buy tickets
The lowest fares can be bought around 2-3 months before departure, while prices tend to increase with more advance notice.
However, there may be limited time promotional offers for dates more than 6 months out.
Fare classes
Only economy class is available on PLAY aircraft.
Tickets are available in three different packages, which differ in the number of bags or services on board.
PLAY Basic - Includes the flight price alone and 1 small personal itemPLAY Value - includes 1 personal item, 1 standard cabin bag, 1 checked bag, seat selection and priority boardingis usually around 20 to 25% more expensive than the Basic fare and if you only need one of these services, it is worth buying the Basic fare and adding the service in the following booking steps

Hello, I have purchased tickets with your company, confirmation mail wrote to me. I don't know how to find the tickets to print them. Thank you for your reply
This is NOT an airline website. What you received in your email IS a ticket. You need a boarding pass to enter the airport and the plane, more here: https://www.cestujlevne.com/lete...y/check-in
