Prague Vaclav Havel Airport in a nutshell
The largest airport in the Czech Republic is situated about 11 km west of the centre of Prague in the Ruzyně district. For many years, Ruzyně was even part of the airport’s official name, but since 2012 it has been named after former President Václav Havel.
Smartwings has its main base here. Ryanair and Eurowings also use Prague as one of their bases.
Prague has regular connections to around a hundred cities across Europe, and several long-haul routes also fly here (Dubai, Seoul, Taipei, New York, etc.).
