Vilnius International Airport in a nutshell

Trakkai Water Castle

Lithuania’s main airport, located 7 km south of Vilnius city centre, primarily serves flights to Western and Southern Europe and Scandinavia. There are no direct long-haul flights to Vilnius.

As Lithuania does not have its own national airline, the majority of flights are operated by Wizz Air and Ryanair.

The Latvian airline Air Baltic also operates one of its hubs in Vilnius, flying to neighbouring countries, offering seasonal flights to southern Europe, and operating routes to major European airports.

When travelling to Lithuania, many travellers combine Vilnius Airport with Kaunas Airport ( KUN), 100 km away, which is served by a large number of Ryanair flights.
