Madrid-Barajas Adolfo Suárez Airport in a nutshell

Adolfo Suarez Airport is located in Barajas, about 20 km from central Madrid. It is one of the largest airports in the world and is known for the interesting architectural design of Terminal 4, designed by Santiago Calatrava, which is one of the longest in the world.
Madrid Airport serves, among other things, as the main connecting point for flights between Europe and Latin America, and is home to Iberia and Air Europa, as well as low-cost airlines led by Ryanair.

If you have a few hours layover at Madrid Airport (MAD), it is possible to visit the centre of Madrid or the neighbouring town of Alcalá de Henares, or the even closer town of Torrejón de Ardoz and its city museum with free admission.
Hello, I would like to ask you, I am arriving by Ryanair to Madrid then I will continue with Ryanair to Fez Sais. Will I then be staying at terminal 1? And do you think 2:15 will be enough for me to change planes? Thank you
Hello, yes, all Ryanair flights depart from Terminal 1.
The largest distances between departure gates are roughly 30 minutes transfer + passport control, so the net transfer time can be as long as 45 minutes. If you fly with checked baggage, then even longer, over an hour: https://www.cestujlevne.com/leti...d/terminal
Unless the first flight is delayed, you can probably make the connection.
They have it nicely described on their website. https://www.aena.es/en/adolfo-su...ights.html
