The viewpoint called Miradouro da Boca do Inferno is one of the most famous and beautiful not only in the Azores, but in the whole of Europe.

How to get to the viewpoint?
Miradouro da Boca do Inferno is a very accessible viewpoint, even for less-trained travellers. A beautiful and comfortable path through dense forest and then through high meadows will take you to the viewpoint at around 800m above sea level in about 1km (one way) from the car park.
The car park can be found by the mountain road that reaches the bottom of the Sete Cidades crater from the east.
