The wild west coast of Zakynthos hides many beautiful sceneries and the Plakaki cliffs are definitely one of the ones you shouldn't miss.

The coastline below the village of Agalas is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful in Greece. The white cliffs drop almost vertically down from heights of up to 100 metres, and the coastal waters are dotted with numerous rock formations jutting out of the sea.

Moreover, at Cape Plakaki, which is reached by a road from Agalas, you can descend a staircase almost to the sea and take great photos from a different perspective.

The only way to get here is by car, the capital of Zakynthos is 22 km away (see route map).
