Paradise Beach

The most beautiful and wildest beaches among the high white cliffs and turquoise crystal waters can be found on the west coast in the Liapades area between Paleokastritsa and Ermones.
The dramatic cliff coastline with its hills covered in dense green vegetation invites you to enjoy breathtaking views and swimming in the sea without the crowds of tourists. The beaches along this coastline are among the most beautiful in Greece.
The most famous of the local beaches is Paradise Beach, or Chomi Beach, while others include Stelari Beach and Kolias Beach.
The only downside (or upside, as the case may be) is the fact that the beaches are not accessible except by boat.
Price of boat trips and where to sail from
Almost all boat trips to Paradise Beach start from the resort of Paleokastritsa.
Most companies start at Agios Spiridon beach, the local marina or Liapades beach. Anyway, at all the beaches and important places in Paleokastritsa you will find offers from local travel agencies for excursions, the choice is wide and there is certainly no need to arrange anything in advance.
These are usually day trips with stops at several beaches and the possibility to swim for a few hours.
Prices are around 20 eur depending on how many stops you have to make.
Note that the base price is without meals, but the beaches (especially Paradise Beach) are visited by boats with refreshments that can be purchased for 10 to 15 eur. You can also rent a sun lounger and umbrella here (expect to pay around 10 eur again).
