Coral Bay

Coral Bay

Coral Bay is a town about 12 km north of Paphos on the island of Cyprus. This fast growing resort is becoming increasingly popular for beach holidays close to the big city, but in a very quiet and well maintained location.

The town itself consists mainly of hotels and apartments, but there are a few restaurants, a supermarket and souvenir shops. The nearby big city of Paphos can be reached within 30 minutes for more entertainment.

Beaches and swimming

Coral Bay has won over travellers with its beautiful beach with fine light sand, its gradual entry into the crystal clear azure waters and its location in a beautiful bay that protects the beach from large waves. These conditions will be appreciated especially by families with children, but also by lovers of more active holidays. There is a wide range of water sports on the beach, or you can rent a pedalo or boat and go around the bay.

Of course there are sunbeds and umbrellas for rent (approx. 7,50 eur per set for the whole day).

The edges of the rocky bay are also ideal for snorkelling.

Accommodation in Coral Bay

Apartment hotels, holiday villas and smaller hotel resorts await you in Coral Bay. The resort is modern and so are its accommodation facilities, yet prices are slightly below average for Cyprus and if you book in advance you can get accommodation in high season for as little as 55 eur per night for 2.
