Golden Bauhinia Square

Golden Bauhinia Square

The Bauhinia flower not only has its place on the Hong Kong flag, but also in the form of a golden sculpture on one of the most beautiful promenades in the city.

Golden Bauhina Square is located in the Wan Chai district of central Hong Kong and is one of the most popular spots for viewing the city's skyline with its high-rise buildings.

View of the Symphony of Lights

Loudspeakers have been installed along the entire roughly 250-metre length, from which a musical accompaniment to the "Symphony of Lights" laser light show plays every evening at 8pm.

Golden Bauhinia Square is one of only three places in Hong Kong where you can listen to live music during the light show.

The majority of the laser lights are installed on skyscrapers in central Hong Kong, while the smaller ones are in Kowloon, which you can see from Golden Bauhinia Square.

That's why the Symphony of Lights is a popular place to watch it on the other side of the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade.
