Windy Beach is located on the northern coast of Rhodes Town, just a 15-minute walk from the centre. As the name suggests, windy conditions are common here, which attracts especially water sports enthusiasts - especially windsurfing and kitesurfing.

The beach also includes the North Cape, the northernmost tip of the entire island of Rhodes, which is entirely filled with beach.

To the south it is adjacent to Akti Kanari Beach, while to the east it is bordered by the most famous Elli Beach.

The appearance and facilities of the beach

The beach is mostly pebbly, with clear water and open views of the Turkish coastline.

Thanks to the currents, the water is often refreshing even in the sultry summer.

There are a large number of restaurants and bars all along the west side of the beach, offering sunbeds and umbrellas for hire.
