Where to stay in Rhodes Town

Windmills

Rhodes Town is a common place to stay if you are visiting the island on your own and want to explore as many places as possible.

As the main international airport , Rhodes RHO, is the most accessible by public transport from the largest town, it is often chosen by tourists as their first or last overnight stop.

Due to the extensive Old Town, the boat tours on offer and the nice beaches, we would recommend spending at least 2-3 nights in Rhodes Town.

Prices and when to book a hotel?

Rhodes Town has a population of almost 90,000 people, and because of this, many hotels operate year-round.

There is a wide range of accommodation on offer and prices are usually lower than in larger resorts such as Faliraki, Lindos or Kolymbia.

In the summer season, we recommend booking a hotel at least 1 month before your trip to ensure you have plenty of availability and cheap deals.

Prices for cheaper 2* or 3* hotels with private bathrooms range between 80 eur and 120 eur depending on the season.

Better 4* hotels offer rooms from 120 eur in low season to 350 eur in high season or for last minute bookings.
