The massive three-storey bridge is designed for road, pedestrian and monorail traffic, but is still not yet operational.

A total of four pillars house restaurants, toilets or cruise agencies.

The bridge is 435 metres long and was built in 1999. The architectural model was the historic Khaju Bridge in Esfahan, Iran.
