Garden of Hama-rikyu
The Hama-rikyu Gardens are among the most beautiful of their kind in Tokyo. This garden contrasts strongly with the surrounding world, i.e. new and old construction.
The public park has attractive water features, tea gazebos and beautifully landscaped trees.
Head here in the months of February-March when the garden is colourful with rapeseed fields and plum trees, or conversely in December when the trees are beautifully coloured with autumn leaves.
Hama-rikyu Garden is a relatively small park that can be walked through in 30 minutes.
