The jagged shoreline of lava rocks, against which the mass of ocean water crashes with a roar, is covered with dense green vegetation creating such stunning scenery.

Black Sand Beach
The main attraction, however, is clearly the exotic-looking beach with its fine black volcanic sand surrounded by rocks and palm trees. However, it is very easy to get to, as you can practically drive right up to the beach.
Black Sand Beach on Maui is particularly suited to breathtaking views. Although it is situated in a sheltered cove, the water is quite unpredictable and if you are going to swim here, then only if you are a really good swimmer.
