Getting to Maui

The only way to get to Maui is by plane. Passenger boat service between the Hawaiian Islands is virtually non-existent, the only exception being the route from Maui to Lanai.
The island of Maui has 3 airports, but only one of them is a standard large international airport:
- Kahului OGG - all international flights, flights from the mainland USA and very frequent connections to the other Hawaiian Islands
- Kapalua JHM - only the Honolulu service of the small airline Mokulele Airlines
- Hana HNM - Kahului small airline Mokulele Airlines only
