How tall is the 2nd tallest building in the world? In total, Merdeka 118 measures an impressive 679 metres including the antenna. The roof of the building is at a height of 518 metres.
The highest habitable floor is at 503 metres and the highest viewing platform for tourists is at 566 metres.
In total, the skyscraper has 118 floors (hence its name).

Merdeka 118 has 2 observation decks for tourists:
- The main platform at 502 metres.
- Roof terrace at 566 metres
Currently both viewing platforms are closed.
They are expected to open in the first half of 2026.

Play of lights at night
Merdeka 118 is beautifully illuminated at night by more than 8 km of LED light strips that gradually move from one corner to the other.
Every 30 minutes from 20:00 to midnight for 5 minutes the LEDs change their structure, turn off and only small dots remain lit.
