Masjid Jamek

Masjid Jamek

One of the oldest mosques in Kuala Lumpur, Masjid Jamek Sultan Abdul Samad, is located at the overground station of the same name right in the city centre.

The mosque sits on a beautiful site at the confluence of the Klang and Gombak rivers drowned in a modern development of high-rise buildings. On the tip of the peninsula formed by the confluence of the two rivers, you will find the inscription "Kuala Lumpur".

Overall, the Jamek Mosque is one of the most photographed landmarks in Kuala Lumpur.
