Aquaria

Located on the ground floor of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center just a few minutes' walk from the Petronas Twin Towers, the Oceanarium will entice children and adults alike.
Of the city's aquariums located extra within other buildings and malls, this is definitely one of the best.

What will you see inside?
After a recent visit to the aquarium in Rhodes, Greece, I wasn't expecting much in Kuala Lumpur either.
But Aquaria KLCC is surprisingly large and will keep you entertained for at least 30-45 minutes. It's located in the huge Suria mall complex, so you can combine your visit with shopping.
In total, this aquarium covers an area of 5,600 square metres and features more than 250 species of fish, marine animals and mammals that live mostly in Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
The first section is dedicated to insects and mammals.
Next, you will walk through corridors with many smaller aquariums with colourful smaller fish until you reach a large circular aquarium and an open tank with larger fish.
But the biggest attraction is the 90-metre long underwater tunnel. In the tank around it you can admire the largest animals including sharks, rays or turtles.
