Attractions and things to see at HK Disneyland

The park covers an area of 27 hectares and has many attractions for all ages to enjoy.

Various shows are held here and there are also famous fairy tale characters walking around for you to take photos with. There are, of course, many restaurants or souvenir shops. You'll have plenty to choose from and you won't know what to do first.

The park is divided into 4 themed zones, referred to as "Land". In the middle of the whole park is the landmark of all Disneyland worlds - the Disney Castle.

  • Main Street, U.S.A. - The main part of the park is styled to resemble a 20th century American Midwestern town.
  • Adventureland - Attractions styled like a tropical jungle
  • Fantasyland - the most visited part of the park with several pavilions and sci-fi interactive attractions
  • Tomorrowland - attractions with visions of the future

Admission - ticket prices and ticket types

With a purchased ticket, you no longer pay additional admission to any attraction inside the park. You only pay for food or souvenir purchases.

Prices vary according to days of the week or seasons. Generally, the busier the day (typically weekends and public holidays), the more expensive the admission price.

You can purchase a ticket for 1 day or 2 days.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the door. You can pay with cash, all local apps (WeChat, Union Pay, Alipay) and Visa or Mastercard.

Opening hours

The park is open on different days at slightly different times.

It usually opens at 10:00 or 10:30 and closes at 20:00 or 20:30.

How to get there

Disneyland Hong Kong is located on Lantau Island between downtown and HKG Airport.

Metro

The quickest and easiest way to get to Disneyland is by subway.

From downtown, Kowloon or Tung Chung station near the airport, use the yellow "Tung-Chung" line. Reach "Sunny Bay" station, where you change to the short pink line "Disneyland Resort".

Ticket prices from Hong Kong station are 27,10 hkd when using the Octopus Card.

The Disneyland Resort Line runs every 15 minutes and the yellow "Tung-Chung" line runs every 7 minutes. The journey to the city centre takes about 30 minutes and you can find the route planner on the official subway website: mtr.com.hk.

Buses

There are also several bus routes to the main entrance.

  • B5(Citybus.com.hk) - price 6,10 hkd, goes to Sunny Bay station and to the HZMB terminal, where you can change to buses towards Macau or Zhuhai
  • R8(Citybus.com.hk) - price 7,10 hkd, only goes to "Lantau Link Bus-Bus Interchange" stop where you can change to other lines towards Kowloon
  • 36(nlb.com.hk) - price 10,20 hkd, goes to Tung Chung station
  • R33(lwb.hk) - price 21,10 hkd, goes to Tuen Mun
  • R42(lwb.hk) - price 23,50 hkd, goes to Tai Wai district
