Playmobil FunPark
If you're heading to Nuremberg with children, you should definitely not miss a visit to the laid-back Playmobil FunPark in the village of Zirndorf, about 15 km west of the city centre.

The well-known manufacturer of children's plastic dolls in various forms, Playmobil, has its headquarters in Zirndorf and has been welcoming visitors to the theme park since 2002.
You can have fun with your children on more than 90 hectares and spend a whole day here.
What will you find at Playmobil FunPark?
There are many attractions in the park that are linked by themes, including Playmobil figures in various forms and larger-than-life size. All of the sets are styled after the manufacturer's toys and adapted for practical use.
In total, there are 25 attractions in the park. For example, you can look forward to the following attractions:
- Knight's Castle - the focal point of the area is a large castle, the bowels of which will offer children entertainment for many dozens of minutes. A mysterious underground passage, a mirror or throne room and a watchtower will take children back to the Middle Ages and the days of chivalry. Various children's games in the style of jousting tournaments are held in the adjacent area.
- The Pirate Ship - a large area full of water, climbing frames and fun treasure hunting games, especially for pirate raft rides on the vast lagoon.
- Mermaid Kingdom - lovers of mermaid tales will enjoy water fun in the many canals and pools
- Western Town - take in the atmosphere of the Wild West and enjoy fun in the many sandboxes and the typical "saloon" setting
- HOB Center - the biggest attraction is the glass building with many indoor climbing frames, sandboxes and pools where you can enjoy all-day fun even in inclement weather
In addition, the Playmobil FunPark offers a mini-golf course, dozens of climbing frames, climbing attractions, trampolines, etc. in short, everything that children can imagine.

Who is the park for?
Head to the Playmobil park with children aged 3 to 10. The attractions are especially suited to younger children, older ones might get a bit bored in the park.
Entrance fees and opening hours
Specific dates vary depending on the year and can always be found on the official website.
- 9:00-17:00 All attractions except mini golf, which doesn't open until 11:00
Ticket prices are the same for everyone aged 3 and over. Children under 3 years old get in for free.
As the number of attractions is significantly limited during the winter season, prices from November to April are lower than during the summer season.
Tickets are always valid for the whole day for 1 adult + 1 child.

Tickets are valid for the whole site, except for mini-golf where there is a special fee of 6 eur for adults and children aged 12 and over and 5 eur for children aged 11 and under.
Entrance to the complex is only possible after purchasing an online ticket! You cannot buy entry to the venue at the ticket office, you can only pay the parking fee and get a discount 1 eur when you present your public transport ticket.
How to get to Playmobil FunPark?
The funfair is located 15 km west of Nuremberg, south of the village of Zirndorf and west of the village of Oberasbach.
By car
The four-lane Südwesttangente road leads to the Playmobil Park, which takes you about 3 km to the exit for Zindorf.
There is a huge car park right at the entrance to the site, including charging points for electric cars. The daily parking fee is 5 eur and is payable at the main ticket office.
By public transport
When travelling from the centre of Nuremberg, first take the S-Bahn line S4, which runs from, for example, Nuremberg Central Station or Schweinau Station (transfer to the U2 metro).
Get to Anwanden station, where you change to bus line 151.
You will get off directly in front of the entrance at the Zirndorf stop, Playmobil FunPark.
- Total journey time from the main station: 24 to 30 minutes depending on the transfer time (13 minutes S-Bahn, 6 minutes bus)
- Ticket price: Zirndorf is in the same fare zone as Nuremberg, so you won't pay extra

If you present a day ticket for individuals or groups, you will receive a discount on the park entrance fee of 1 eur.
