Euro-Skulptur

Euro-sculptur

The electronic light installation of the emblem of the European currency, the euro, with 12 yellow stars is one of Frankfurt's major tourist attractions.

The so-called "Euro-Skulptur" was created by architect Ottmar Hörl in two copies. The smaller one is located in front of Frankfurt FRA Airport, while the larger one is located on Willy-Brandt-Platz directly in front of the European Central Bank.

The Euro statue measures 14 metres tall and weighs over 50 tonnes.

At night, the sculpture is lit up.
