Balti Jaama Turg

The market named after the Balti jaam railway station, which is right opposite, is one of our favourite places in Tallinn.

Balti Jaama Turg has been in operation since 1993 and the three-storey hall houses more than 300 stalls and shops.
Healthy food, cafes and clothing
Balti Jaama's marketplace has two floors dedicated to food and on the third and final floor you will find stalls selling cheap clothes.
The shops focus on fresh, quality and organic food at reasonable prices.
You will find several fruit and vegetable stalls, an organic food supermarket, several cafes and plenty of hot food stalls.
We personally tried the pancake stall, which didn't impress us too much, but the pelmeni and borscht bistro was absolutely great!
Admission and opening hours
The market is a public space and therefore admission is free.
Prices in local businesses are in line with the Estonian standard.
Balti Jaama Turg is open all year round every day from 10:00 to 19:00. On Sundays it closes at 17:00.
