Air Greenland flights

The best price for tickets can be purchased directly through airgreenland.com. However, with increasing competition from SAS and Icelandair, we always recommend (especially on international flights) to compare prices, for example via skyscanner.com.
When to buy tickets and prices
Prices are most volatile on international flights between Denmark and Greenland, or between Iceland and Greenland.
On these routes, it's worth monitoring prices around 6-7 months before you plan to travel and, if you have a fixed date, buying at least 3-4 months in advance.
For domestic flights, prices usually don't move much.
Prices for domestic flights within Greenland are very high and for example a return flight from Nuuk to Ilulissat lasting 1.5 hours normally costs around 700 eur.
Special deals are most prevalent on flights from Copenhagen where, exceptionally, the price of a return flight can fall below 500 eur. Standard prices, however, are more likely to be over 900 eur.

Only economy class is available on the small De Havilland Dash-8 aircraft, while business class is also available on the Airbus A330-800.
Tickets are divided into several fare classes, which differ mainly in terms of flexibility or the choice of a free seat.
