All fares always include checked baggage and hand luggage.

Hand luggage

Passengers can only take 1 piece of hand luggage on board. No extra personal items (such as a laptop or handbag) are allowed.

The maximum dimensions must be 55x40x23 cm and the weight up to 8 kg.

If you are flying on a De Havilland Dash-8 turboprop aircraft, larger hand luggage that meets the maximum dimensions but does not fit in the overhead bin (usually suitcases on wheels) will be removed just before boarding.

This baggage will be collected from the tarmac as soon as you leave the aircraft.

Checked baggage

Air Greenland have a policy called weight concept, i.e. it is important to meet the maximum weight, but you can spread this over several bags.

All passengers have free 20 kg checked baggage on all routes.

Baggage for children

Children (infants) up to 2 years of age are entitled to checked baggage up to 10 kg, but no hand luggage except for a folding pushchair.

For children over 2 years of age, the same rules apply as for adult passengers.
