Mo‘omomi Beach

Moomomi Beach

The northwestern, remote coast of the island attracts beautiful sandy-rock beaches in small coves and interesting rock formations with sand dunes. The environment here is quite different from elsewhere in the Hawaiian Islands. It's drier, with little vegetation, and in some places it has the feel of semi-desert and savannah.

The cheapest accommodation on Molokai

Mo'omomi Beach is a popular spot, with short hiking trails along the coast through sand dunes and completely secluded landscapes where you'll encounter virtually no signs of civilization.

Despite this, Mo'omomi Beach is easily reached by car on the orphaned asphalt road number 480, which takes you here after about 9 km from the local airport.
