Weather in Molokai and best time to go

Molokai

The climate on Molokai is tropical and pleasant all year round. Temperatures vary only slightly throughout the year, with the only differences being stronger winds during autumn and winter, but these are rather refreshing given the summer temperatures.

Due to Molokai's geography, with a flatter western part and a very mountainous eastern part, it rains significantly less in the east of the island than in the west, where, especially in the mountains, showers fall every day throughout the year.

Even in its bare western half, however, Molokai is not a completely arid island.

Average winter temperatures range between 25 and 26 °C, while summer temperatures are between 28 and 30 °C. It rains significantly less on Molokai, or the parts accessible to humans, than on the other Hawaiian Islands.
