Hana Airport in a nutshell

The very small airport on the east side of Maui near the town of Hana serves only small propeller planes, but a regular service with a Cessna 208 from Mokulele Airlines also goes here.
The Hana airport is mainly used for quick transport from east Maui to the central part of Maui, and is mainly used by local residents.
Flying into Hana avoids one of Maui's main tourist attractions, the scenic Road to Hana, so from a tourist perspective this airport is not heavily used.
The only scheduled service heads to Kahului OGG Airport, Maui's main entry point. There are no other scheduled flights from the surrounding islands.
