Piscinas beach

Piscine beach

Piscinas beach in the south-west of the island is regularly ranked among the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia and Europe. Over 3.5 km of fine golden sand is bordered on one side by sand dunes with grasses and on the other by clear open sea.

Choose the best hotel with a sea view

Set in a secluded area away from civilisation, Spiaggia di Piscinas offers plenty of privacy for everyone - even in high season, there's no headache.

Facilities and beach appearance

The beachfacilities are concentrated in a small area around the car park, where you can refresh yourself at a few stalls, hire a sunbed or umbrella, or use the surfboard hire. The rest of the beach is purely natural without any facilities.

Theentrance to the water is relatively gradual, but expect bigger waves.

Further south of this beach you will find other roughly 5-6 km of fine sand beaches with no facilities at all (Spiaggia di Tuppa Niedda, Spiaggia di Scivu), which can be reached either on foot or by car along forest roads.

Accommodation

There is no hotel or campsite near the beach. Look in the Magazzini area, where there are mainly smaller guesthouses or apartments with prices from 100 eur per night for two.

How to get there

The beach is not accessible by public transport, only by car. From the main road SP126 you turn off at this junction and continue about 13 km down to the sea.

First on a tarmac road, which later turns into a dirt road.
