Kitanomaru Park
The Kitanomaru Garden is located north of the Kōkyō Imperial Palace and is very popular with tourists, especially during the sakura blossom season in spring and also during autumn when the local deciduous trees turn shades of red and yellow.
Kitanomaru Park is relatively small and can be walked through in 15 minutes.
We recommend venturing to the other side of the lake, where you'll get the best views, especially of the flowering sakura trees.
Kitanomaru Park also includes the famous Nippon budokan arena for judo matches.
