What would I choose? To be honest, I’d base my choice mainly on the dates, or possibly on the transfer airport. For me, the economy class experience is similar across all airlines.

Personally, my favourite airports for transfers are Doha and Abu Dhabi, and I like Istanbul Airport the least. In Vienna and Istanbul, it’s handy that you don’t have to go through security again when transferring on the outbound journey.
