Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen International Airport in a nutshell
The airport, named after Turkey’s first female military pilot, is situated about 36 km from central Istanbul on the Asian side of the city.
Although it is nowhere near as large as the airport Istanbul IST on the other side of the Bosphorus, it is nonetheless one of the busiest in the Middle East.
The major low-cost carrier Pegasus Airlines is based here, and AJet operates one of its main hubs at the airport.
Most flights from Sabiha Gökçen Airport are bound for European destinations, cities in the Middle East or North Africa.

Currently Istanbulkart costs TRY 130 plus TRY 12 fee. The cheapest ride (metro, bus, tram) is 20 TRY and the overground B1 from the penultimate metro station is about 45 TRY.
Havabus advertises on its website a price of 217 TRY
I would like to ask about the airport in IstanbulSabiha Gokcen...it is a big airport and I don't know if I will be able to navigate there...has anyone used the fast truck service...thank you
It's not a big enough airport.
Compared to the larger Asian airports it is rather smaller and quite clear, depending on the time for the transfer

Hi, the airport is always crowded (except for 5:00 or so). 2 hours minimum. It's relatively long at the checkpoints. Baggage check in a matter of 2 minutes, they have self service counters.
