Shymkent this morning. Twice weighing cabin bags and hand bags, first time at check-in, second time at the entrance to the part of the kennel where the passport check takes place. The guy tolerated up to half a kilo over, the rest uncompromisingly 25 euros per kilo over. Please note that the cabin bag is 8 kg at Pegasus, the hand bag 3 kg. I haven't experienced this elsewhere, in Istanbul they have it heavily on salami.
What about Russian? Is it still useful?
Yeah, it's essential. The younger one speaks English, not Russian, but with the older ones only Russian.
VIE-SAW-OSS
VIE - no size or weight control
SAW - also no, they don't care
OSS - I will just add that the passport here is on arrival 1x 321n for about 30-40 min
