Stogi Beach
A popular spot for walks and sporting activities can be found east of the city centre on the Baltic Sea coast. Stogi Beach, with its fine, light-coloured sand, is perfect for long walks, taking in the endless expanse of water, the distant harbour cranes and the passing ships.
On warm summer days, it’s also a popular spot for swimming and cooling off in the very cold Baltic waters.
Beach facilities
Stogi Beach is situated in a more secluded area away from the built-up area, so it retains a largely natural character. It is fringed by low sand dunes and low scrub.
During the summer season, you’ll find several refreshment stalls here, whilst a restaurant is open all year round at the tram terminus in the middle section of Stogi Beach.
